Why is blue light from monitors, TVs, or smartphones harmful to our eyes?
Long-term exposure to blue light can damage the retina and contribute to age-related macular degeneration, which can lead to vision loss. It is proven that blue light exposure at night suppresses the secretion of melatonin, which is essential for healthy sleep.
Excessive use of digital devices causes "digital eye strain." The main symptoms are blurred vision, difficulty focusing, dry and irritated eyes, headaches, neck, and back pain. Digital eye strain has already surpassed the previously most common computer-related issue, carpal tunnel syndrome.
Each capsule contains 160 mg of blueberry, which includes anthocyanins - the purple pigment.
Another anthocyanin responsible for the blue color of blueberries is delphinidin, which has beneficial effects on our vision. If you suffer from dry and tired eyes, just use E-Bright daily, and you will see that eye fatigue will disappear within a few days.
What are anthocyanins?
Anthocyanins are an interesting group of substances with positive effects on human health, which are not often talked about. These anthocyanin pigments are present in various types of fruits, vegetables, but also grains and root vegetables. They are most abundantly found in various berry fruits.
Plants produce anthocyanins to protect themselves from external negative influences. However, anthocyanins are not only beneficial for plants but also for humans. They exhibit antioxidant effects, allowing them to eliminate free radicals and thus prevent the formation of carcinogens.
Another important ingredient is lutein from marigold (20 mg), a yellow pigment.
Lutein is a significant antioxidant that belongs to the carotenoid group. It is mainly found in the retina and macula, responsible for central vision. Lutein plays a protective role against oxidative damage to the eye by free radicals. Adequate lutein intake improves vision and reduces the risk of cataracts and other degenerative eye diseases (e.g., macular degeneration). Besides its benefits for vision, lutein also has beneficial effects on the skin and cardiovascular system.
Recommended daily dose: Take one capsule daily with water, herbal tea, or fruit juice. Active ingredients are better absorbed when E-Bright is consumed with food.
Content of active substances in the daily dose of 600 mg / 1 capsule:
- Blueberry extract, of which anthocyanins: 160 mg - 43 mg
- Hematococcus algae extract: 120 mg
- Marigold extract with lutein: 20 mg
Ingredients: Blueberry extract (made in Japan), safflower oil, edible flaxseed oil, marigold extract, refined fish oil containing DHA and EPA, hematococcus algae extract, tocotrienol, MCT, oil/gelatin, glycerin, beeswax, dunaliella carotene, plant lecithin (from soy).
